Dot and Line Art Studio Policies and Waiver Agreement:

Payment in full is due at registration. Your registration and payment is an agreement to our terms and policies, and a promise by us that we will provide you with the enriching art making experience that you registered for.

Cancellation and Refund policies:

We understand that kids get sick and life happens. Please notify us if you or your child will miss a class. We will try our best to schedule a make-up class if possible, but makeups are not guaranteed. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
Group Classes Registrations are refundable - less a $50 processing fee and credit card fees up to 21 days before the class start date. After 21 days before the start date, we will offer a refund less a $50 fee, if we are able to fill the spot. Otherwise, classes are non-refundable.
Camp Refunds: Camps are refundable less a $50 processing fee and credit card fees up to 45 days in advance of the camp starting. After 45 days in advance of the camp starting, we can offer a refund less the $50 processing fee if we are able to fill the spot. Otherwise, camps are not refundable.
Minimum Class Size Requirements : Certain classes will need to have a minimum class size to run. If registrations do not meet that minimum, we will cancel that class and refund your registration fee.

We are a small business and it is challenging to recover lost revenue if registrations are cancelled last minute. Thank you for your understanding of our policies.
Art for Tots, Tween Nights: These classes are non-refundable.
Teen and Family Workshops: are refundable less a $20 processing fee up to 7 days in advance of the workshop starting. After 7 days in advance of the workshop starting, the workshop is non-refundable.
Specialty workshops (Adults) : are refundable - less a $50 processing fee and credit card fees up to 21 days before the class start date. After Workshop begins, please contact us.
Birthday Parties: We ask that all birthday parties are scheduled within at least 4 weeks in advance of your preferred date. As we will try our best to accommodate with scheduling, we do need more lead time to have everything ready for you. A deposit of $100 will be required to hold your date, the balance paid in-full one week before the event. Please see the full descriptions of our parties and pricing breakdown here. Please note that there are different party theme price points depending on materials needed and what is involved.

For all of our children’s classes, we use non-toxic and developmentally appropriate materials. We cannot guarantee that all materials will wash out, so please dress your child in clothes that are okay to get messy.

** All Parents / Caregivers / Party Host Families must complete and sign our Studio Waiver to participate in our classes, parties, or group workshops or events. Our Studio Waiver will be provided to you upon booking or registration, for your signature. **

Our Studio Waiver statement:

Payment for lessons, classes, and camps is due up front upon booking on our website unless we have an alternate arrangement in writing. Birthday Parties require a non-refundable $100 deposit to hold the date, the balance paid in-full one week before the scheduled event, which will be invoiced. For all children’s and adult classes and lessons, we use non-toxic and developmentally appropriate materials. We cannot guarantee that all art materials will wash out, so please dress in clothes that are okay to get messy. We do have smocks for young students which we can provide.

Release of Liability

As a Participant in our Studio programming, you release and hold harmless, Dot and Line Art Studio, LLC, its owners, operators, and educators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, or guests of parties while in or upon our premises or any premises under the control, supervision, or services of Dot and Line Art Studio, LLC owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises. That said, we do take your and your child's safety seriously and are respectful and careful of your personal property while attending or participating events, classes, parties, or workshops at our Studio. Our Studio doors will be unlocked 10 minutes before each class or camp for arrival, and then locked 10 minutes after classes or camp begins. We will unlock our doors 10 minutes before class or camps are finished for departure.

For all Birthday Parties and Workshops: We may have to keep our ground floor door unlocked for the duration of an event to allow Parents/Caregivers to come and go. During Parties and Workshops will close and lock the Studio/Classroom door. One Parent/Caregiver of attendees, participants, or guests whom are 5 years old and younger, must stay with their child(ren) for support and supervision. We cannot guarantee nor be resposble for being able to consistently supervise guest child(ren) or support their needs during a party or workshop.

For Birthday Parties: Regardles of age of child(ren) Invitees or Participants, Host Families are responsible for having all Parent/Caregivers aware of their responsibility to monitor and support their own child(ren) as guests of the party. Host familes of parties are responsible for communicating this to their Parent/Caregiver Invited Guests. Host Familes are to assume the responsibility of making sure all attendees are present during the party, with a physical attendance matched to their RSVP Guest list. We encourage Host Families to bring a paper guest list with names of attending child(ren) guests, ages, their Parent/Caregiver's phone numbers, and have the ability to maintain active contact with them during your party regardless if they are dropping their children off at our Studio or staying to support them. All Parents/Caregivers of Invited Guests or Attendees should be aware of the party start and end times so that they can schedule drop-off's and pickups accordingly. It is the Host Family's responsibility to send out invitations with the correct date/time of your party and provide the above information to your Invitee Parents and Caregivers.

Photo Consent Permission

We do take photographs during our classes and events. We use them on our website, Instagram and Facebook pages and for promotional purposes. If you or a guest are not comfortable with this, we completely understand. Please just let us know your preferences and we will honor them.
