Drawing Studio Saturdays 7pm - 8pm Ages 12-14yrs Jan 25, Feb 1, 8, 22, March 1, 8, 22 7 classes This small group studio will be designed for advanced students ages 12-14 who are looking for a more comprehensive and serious exploration of traditional drawing techniques. * Please only register your Teen students if they are in the 12-14 age group, and are specifically interested in drawing lessons and extending their abilities. We'll work on honing various drawing skills through several observational drawing projects with instructor demos and assistance to develop skillset and proficiency in making a variety of artworks with different media. Since this class will be capped at 8 students, we'll have a fun and casual working environment with demos and feedback from the instructor. Students should expect to work with traditional drawing media: Conte Crayon, Ebony Pencil, Charcoal, etc. and practice drawing from observation: learning or brushing up on shading, tonal gradations, rendering form, light, and shadow with illusionary effect. Students can expect to work on still life drawings, scaling images, learn about composition, and dynamic line work.
