Needle and Doodle Tuesdays 4/1, 4/8, then 4/29 - 5/27 Ages 9-14 6:30pm - 7:30pm 7 classes $210 Do you like drawing and experimenting with textiles? In this class, we'll use sewing needles, thread, fabrics, and notions as our tools to explore the intersection of sketching and stitching. Whether you're into quirky characters, abstract designs, or nature-inspired art, you'll learn how to bring your unique vision to life. Jill will walk you through an entire world of handworked embroidery stitches and appliqué techniques. No prior experience necessary – just a willingness to experiment and play. In this class, we will make several experiment/practice pieces and two projects: - An embroidered image of an imagined or real interior space using an 8" hoop and fabric. - One embroidered usable or wearable article with (a tote bag, a shirt, coat, socks, etc), Students can bring in their own article to embroider with their own designs.
