(Camp 5) Build it Big:Cardboard / June 23-27 / AM (Ages 5-10) 9am-12pm Have you ever wondered what you can build with cardboard? Being one of the most common and available materials to work with, Designers, Artists, and Architects have used this versatile material to create everything from immersive sculpture, functional furniture, and models for modern skyscrapers. In this camp, we'll be using cardboard to tell stories, create a village we can walk through, and turn our classroom into a giant aquarium! We will be inspired by several artist’s corrugated creations, learn multiple methods of cardboard construction, and use various materials to change, shape, adhere, and color our designs to our hearts’ content! Campers will collaborate to design and build 3D interactive cardboard objects and worlds with a multitude of imaginative and playful possibilities.
