(Camp 25) Painting Back to Basics / July 28 - Aug 1 / AM (Ages 9-13) 9am-12pm Get ready to build your painting chops  in this fun painting-centric camp! Focusing on the basic building blocks of painting, we'll start by creating color wheels and learning about different color relationships and color families such as complementary, analogous, and monochrome colors. We'll put our new color mixing skills to the test with some color mixing challenges that convey different moods, vibes, or feelings. We'll talk about different art movements and styles, and look at artists to be inspired from to create painted pictures from observation, references, and imaginary spaces. Campers will end the week with a collection of beautiful works on canvas and paper, and a deeper understanding of painting that will continue to grow with them throughout their artistic journey.
